Touch typing course for dyslexic children

Postby backtoworkmum » Mon Nov 22, 2021 10:19 am

Hello, does anyone have any recommendations for a touch typing course or classes locally for children? Not essential that it is specifically for dyslexic kids, but I know it is helpful for them to learn. Ages 9 and 11 yrs.
Thanks x

Hello, We run a business called QWERTYkids teaching children to Touch Type both remotely and face to face.  We are based in Hampshire but have taught many children from Eaton House, Finton House, Newton Prep and others over the past couple of years, since went went more remote due to COVID.  Do let us know if we can help at all.  Clare Macdonald.

I am a dyslexia and handwriting specialist. I set up a Centre in Pimlico 17 year’s ago. It is CReSTeD registered. We teach touch-typing in small groups, especially catering for the SEND child. We do holidays, after school and weekends; plus zoom individual lessons. Please contact Jonathan Berry on 07749 416604 or Google mcleodcentre. Good luck!

Naomi Martin is brilliant. I can’t post the link but do look her up. Kids learn loads with her and have lots of fun.
