Hi

My year 6 child is due to apply for a design award at an independent school but coming from a school with very limited DT lesson he is feeling worried. There is a practical assessment and we have no idea what this could be. Does anyone have any experience of these types of assessments and what may be involved? I’m assuming more design rather than making as he hasn’t made anything at his school!

Any advice would be appreciated.

I’ve got no idea but why don’t you just call the school and ask them? You’ll get extra brownie points for keenness!
