Lawyer for Grant of probate

Postby dain777 » Thu May 25, 2023 8:53 pm

Hi,

Would anyone be able to recommend a good Probate lawyer - as my brother in law passed away and has not left a will.

We would therefore need a lawyer to help us with the Grant of Probate and dealing with assets etc.  He was single and never married. His only estate is mainly his flat which has about 150k in equity.

Does anybody know of a good probate lawyer, preferably looking for someone who charges a fixed fee rather than a percentage of the estate.

Thanks

Hi, I work for TV Edwards in Clapham Junction, I don't know about probate, but my colleague Patrice Lawrence specialises in it. She was great doing my dad's power of attorney when he was in St George's.

I used Hamish MacPherson of Howell Jones when my mother died. He's very good.

I used SJS Solicitors in Balham for a family trust inheritance matter - Savita Sukul was incredibly knowledgeable. Can't recommend her enough.
