After many years the couple running the store are retiring and the shop is closing at the end of the month.  Loads of items are reduced to clear before closure.

Pray to your gods that it's not replaced by an estate agents or opticians.............................

Oh no. I’ve lived in this area since the early 90s and that is one of the very few shops that’s been around all that time. I don’t have a pet so not a huge personal loss but a real shame that there are so few of the original shops left.

That’s a shame, do we know how long it’s been open?
It must be since the early 70s at least.
