this is actually something I have though of doing but my idea was more to prepare and deliver.

So make fresh and then deliver it locally but haven't worked out costings yet...

If you don't find anyone and are based locally, we can possibly have a chat.

Have you tried Dandelion on Northcote Road? They make lovely healthy veggie food and you can just pop it in the microwave to heat up -it's all freshly made in their kitchen and there's something different every day, plus lasagna and aubergine parmigiana most days, and quiches and salads. You could always fry up some chunks of chicken or fish to pop in to keep your husband happy.I wish they'd do some sort of delivery service and/or sit-down cafe; you sometimes have to get your timing right to get whatever the dish of the day is - not always easy, but usually worth it!

Hello Ladies ...

I noticed this post which appreciate is a few years old, but I thought I'd drop you all a note to say that I have launched a small company that caters to your needs.

I deliver fresh, home cooked food to your house every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The meals are for two (in the evening) and I will also include a lovely lunch on each day for the Mum's only, as it would seem that women are more likely to skip lunch, trying to fit in other family jobs during their lunch hour.

If you're interested, do have a look at www.beespantry.com. I'm still working on the site but am happy to talk to anyone looking for a evening solution.

Hope to hear from some of you.

Briony
