Clapham's Best Restaurants

Postby Sarah JJ » Fri Nov 27, 2015 7:35 pm

Hi Guys,

My husband and I have recently moved to Clapham from North London and are looking for The best restaurants in town. Any recommendations would very much appreciated.

Thanks All

Travel down to Balham and you have Lamberts and Chez Bruce - both are fantastic! Lamberts is less formal and less expensive; Chez Bruce is a little fancier.

Agree with most of the above, especially Trinity, Soif, The Dairy and the Manor. I'll also put a word in for Osteria Antica Bologna, especially for pasta.

Aside from those already mentioned, I also love Bistro Union on Abbeville rd and Tsunami (Japanese) by Clapham North.

May the fifteenth, also on Abbeville road. Really delicious food, interesting menu that changes daily.

Hi All,

Thank so much for the recommendations :D. The Japanese restaurant on Abbeville Rd definitely sounds like one to check out.

Sinebro on Battersea Rise. I used to think that The Dairy was unbeatable but I now findthe food rather heavy despite the small portions. Sine bro is more refined.

We didn't have a great experience at Sinabro, the food was good but the service was terrible for the price.

Cornish tiger is good, and we love 'metro' by clapham common tube - not formal but lovely ambience and consistently good food.
