New Italian on Hildreth Street

Postby Joe's Mum » Tue Nov 15, 2016 10:51 pm

I have just come back from trying out the new italian on Hildreth Street. Spaghetti Bar is run by a group of young italians, has only been open for a few days and is, in my opinion, really good. The menu is small and everything is really fresh and most importantly DELICIOUS. My spaghetti with prawns, courgette, white wine and lemon zest was really really good (I lived in Italy for several years so am quite fussy when it comes to pasta). The house white was very nice and the tiramisu exceptional.
Do please try it out. That site has seen a few ill-fated enterprises bite the dust and I would love for this one to succeed - mostly because I am planning to be going back there on a regular basis.

Another vote for Spaghetti Bar - we've just been and had the best pasta (bolognaise and carbonara) we've ever had! Lovely service and amazing value for money. Keep it up!

You can book - we did a couple of hours before for Friday evening and it was fine. They make their spaghetti themselves, by the way :)

Went last night after these recommendations, very good and great service. Music was an odd selection of 80s pop though!
