House hunting between the Commons - HELP!

Postby Househunter » Mon Apr 17, 2017 9:49 am

Hi everyone, I have been looking for a terraced house between the commons, 4 or 5 beds, so I can commute from Clapham South or Clapham junction. We don't need catchment. We are on the books of most agents but some houses gone before we had a chance to view and others seem quite small. A basement conversion would be good as well. We want a south or south/west garden. If anyone knows or anyone about to put their house on the market, please would you pop me a message. Budget around 1.75m. And what agents do you recommend. Thanks.

Have you considered Abbeville Village? Nice area close to Clapham South...

It also might be worth looking in the 'Nightingale Triangle', if you're prepared to cast your net a bit wider. Still walking distance to Clapham South tube (and Balham tube), with mainline stations at Balham and Wandsworth Common.

You'll get a very nice place in Abbeville Road, or Clapham Old Town for that budget. And, dare I say it, a bit more value than BTC. All different areas though so depends what floats your boat.

Must admit I'm a bit surprised to hear the market is as hot as you say. (and also a bit glad  )

I think you need 2m+ for BTC house with a basement.

Good luck.

Have you considered the Magdalen Estate?

You will get a large 5 bedroom fully modernised house with a beautiful kitchen diner area plus off street parking and large garden for between £1.6 - £1.8 million.

Also it's a short walk to Earlsfield Station.

There are houses in Loxley, Ellerton and Multon Roads for sale right now through James Pendleton and Rampton Basely :D
