The National Literacy Trust’s iconic Where’s Wally? fun run is back for its sixth year, returning to Clapham Common in London for what is set to be the biggest event to date.
On Sunday 18 March 2018, thousands of runners, families and book lovers will dress up as the popular children’s book character Wally and run, jog or walk to raise money for the charity’s work. Participants can take part in either a 5k or 10k race; there will also be a 1k course for children under 12.
Now heading into its 25th year, the National Literacy Trust hopes to celebrate its anniversary with a record number of runners donning red and white stripes, whose efforts will help to change the life stories of disadvantaged children in London.
Runners will also take home a goodie bag that includes a copy of Where’s Wally? The Sticker Book by Martin Hanford, published by Walker Books, which includes over 1,000 Where’s Wally? stickers!
