Where to get a decent manicure Post Reply

Hi,

I see lots of lovely manicured hands/nails around so I'm wondering where the ladies of Clapham/Balham recommend for a really decent manicure?

I don't have a manicure regularly but when I do I want it to be a good one. I have concerns about the hygiene of some of the nail bars around but find the nicer salons are pretty expensive and often the end result is not that great even for the money. So disappointing to pay for a treatment and leave with a bodged job.

Tried and tested recommendations would be great!

No contest - The Lemon Tree, Webbs Road. They are absolutely excellent and lovely to deal with.

BARE on Webb's Road. Excellent, been going regularly for years, great service,and very competitively priced. If you opt for gel (shellac) nails, they will remove these free of charge.

I've been to Lemon tree years ago but had forgotten about it....I do remember it was good. Never been to Bare - must try.
