Hello,

Does anyone know of a venue for a children’s birthday party that allows animals?!

Please think carefully before having a party with animals. If it’s anything like a Mr Marvel offering, those poor rabbits spend several hours in a tiny wooden box in all weathers (including freezing winters and boiling summers) travelling to a venue and remain in it for set up until it’s time to come out for all of 5 minutes to get a cursory pat on the head. They’re then stuffed back into their tiny wooden box and placed on the floor while loads of children thunder around very close by.

My kids have been invited to a couple of these parties and even to them it’s obvious that it ‘can’t be very nice for the rabbit’.

Any kind of petting animals at these events are really not having a good time being passed from pillar to post and stuffed into small boxes to travel the distance to venues so if you’re an animal lover or respect the rights of animals not to be exploited for human entertainment then there are lots of other options.

Obviously not telling you what you should or shouldn’t do but many people have not really thought about it from the animal’s perspective.
