I am a contemporary painter who specialises in portraits of children and dogs. I work in oils, acrylic, pencil and charcoal. 

My intention in painting a portrait is finding moments of reflection and capturing the essence of a sitter's personality in an un-posed manner. I work from photographs and spend time with the sitter to capture an unreserved moment.
