Pregnancy Yoga offers specifically modified postures which promote flexibility and the strength to accommodate the growing baby. It allows your body to open gently in preparation for birth, enables you to release physical tension and emotional fears, and teaches you relaxation techniques which you can use throughout your pregnancy. The breathing practice during the class helps open the chest and improving the circulation to both mum and baby. Learning to control your breathing, will help you during labour and helps to reduce stress for you and the baby. Pregnancy is a wonderful time to practise yoga and our classes are for all levels of yogic ability, from beginners to those with varying levels of experience. Pregnancy Yoga classes are gentle and safe for all pregnant women and we welcome you from 16 weeks until birth.
