Holiday aupair

Postby Gillak » Wed May 13, 2015 10:17 am

Hi - I would like to employ a holiday aupair for 2 and a half weeks in July to come on holiday with us to our house in Cornwall. Can anyone advise the best way of going about finding someone? It would be an ideal job for a student with some childcare experience, an aupair or a nanny who has some time off. I wouldn't really need any sole childcare, it would more be helping with meal prep and tidying up and help with days out (I will be 8 months pregnant) and a bit of evening babysitting. I'm looking to pay an aupair rate rather than a nanny rate. Any advice on how I would go about this or if anyone has managed to do the same would be much appreciated!

Try posting on gumtree with exactly what you want etc - we found a short term au pair this way - she was an Australian girl travelling round the world and wanted a few weeks in London at no cost to her - worked very well.
Good luck
