How to get my LO prepared for role at wedding

Postby Teddersmum » Wed Apr 23, 2014 7:15 am

Hi my two year old is due to be a flower girl at a wedding in a couple of weeks and has suddenly become very opinionated about what she wears and after happily letting me put bows and grips in her hair for the last year has now started pulling them out immediately. I am now worried about her having a meltdown about putting the dress on etc. Any tips for preparing her, we have been talking about being a princess etc and she likes looking at books and talking about it.

How about buying her a cheap fancy dress Princess dress, even a character one if she has any favourites, that she can practice wearing and get excited about her upcoming role as a princess? Also I wouldn't worry too much as when she sees everyone getting ready on the day she will probably get excited and want to join in.
