A murder investigation has been launched after a teenager was stabbed to death on Westbridge Road last night.
Police and the London Ambulance Service were called at 7:50pm after reports of the attack.
Paramedics worked desperately for 45 minutes to save the victim, a 19-year-old man, but he was declared dead at the scene.
Scotland Yard confirmed no arrests had been made and a crime scene was put in place after the violent attack.
Images showed a forensic tent erected in the street, which was cordoned off amid the police investigation.
Police statistics showed that 41% of those being caught for knife crimes across London’s boroughs are now aged between 15 and 19.
