Postby Community Editor » Thu Feb 21, 2019 8:18 am

Police have launched an appeal after a woman was sexually assaulted on a bus.

On January 2 at about 3.30pm, a young victim was assaulted on a route 270 bus.

The bus travels in-between Putney Bridge station and Madeira Road in Mitcham, stopping in Tooting and Earlsfield along the way.

Police have now released a picture of a man they "need to identify" in relation to the assault.

The picture appears to show the man wearing a Chicago Bulls hat.

If you have any information you are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 0800555111 quoting 0300130/19.
