Parking at Sainsbury's Wandsworth Now Enforced By Cameras!

Postby Denwand » Mon May 20, 2019 12:18 pm

Just a bit of info for everyone

Sainsbury's have changed the parking payment system at their Wandsworth store

Whereas you bought a 1 or 2 hour ticket from machines in the car park and placed it in your windscreen you now just park your car and enter store where you put your registration number in a machine which produces a voucher for redemption against buying £10 of Sainsbury's shopping (as before)

The downside of this is if you overstay by a few minutes you used to be able to get away with it because the parking company rarely sent a warden around the car park to check.

Now "The Cameras Never Sleep" and if you leave the car park having overstayed you can expect a nice envelope in the post and a fine.

You have been warned!
