Balham Literary Festival
June 13-25
Balham Literary Festival
 returns with a spectacular line-up and discussions ranging from climate change to crime fiction, while celebrating some of the best talent South London has to offer. Camberwell Arts Festival, venues across Camberwell 
June 15-23 
Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year the festival’s theme is The Art of the Party. The festival will launch with a Birthday Feast on Camberwell Green, with everything from the drinks to the décor and dancing designed by local artists. The Made in Camberwell Arts Market, the Not for Sale Exhibition and the Camberwell Fringe programme will all feature.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream
June 16-23 
The Dulwich Players return with another alfresco performance this summer with Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Taste of London 
June 19-23
Another exceptional line-up of top chefs, exciting restaurants, live cooking demonstrations, interactive masterclasses and shopping courtesy of some 200 food and drink purveyors will take place at Regents Park. There are afternoon and evening sessions lasting four hours, giving you time to enjoy your pick of restaurant dishes.

Greenwich+Docklands International Festival
June 21-July 6 
London’s leading festival of outdoor theatre and performing arts, returns to locations across Royal Greenwich, Royal Docks and Tower Hamlets this month. Opening day on Friday, June 21 will see Woolwich Town Centre filled with art, food, dance, street theatre and a spectacular finale.

A Disco Odyssey: The Reflex + Concrete Music
June 21
Disco Odyssey returns to The Prince Of Wales Club and Roof Terrace this month, delivering the elite of Europe’s disco hedonists to the south London establishment. After dominating the South Coast nightlife, POW favourites Concrete Music will be kicking off the night with their take on disco, followed by The Reflex, which will take to the decks to breathe new life into soul, pop and disco classics.

Artists by Artists: Sculpted Portraits in the 19th century
June 18-July 26 
Artists by Artists at Stuart Lochhead Sculpture will feature rarely seen likenesses of artists Degas, Géricault, Ingres, Victor Hugo and Rodin, encompassing a variety of format and media, from mask to roundel and bronze to plaster.

Sorolla: Spanish Master of Light 
Until July 7
The first UK exhibition of Spain’s Impressionist, Sorolla, in over a century. Known as the ‘master of light’ for his iridescent canvases, this is a rare opportunity to see the most complete exhibition of Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida’s (1863–1923) paintings outside Spain.
