New Penthouses at Battersea Nine Elms

Postby Community Editor » Thu Sep 19, 2019 12:09 pm

Two new duplex penthouse apartments have just launched at Barratt London’s Nine Elms Point in Battersea, and with the imminent arrival of the Northern Line extension, this regeneration hotspot offers both convenience and capital growth opportunities.

The three-bedroom duplexes, named Archer and Wilberforce, have Canary Wharf, the City and the West End all within a 30-minute commute in this popular development, which is now over 90% sold.

The Archer penthouse has a light and airy feel to the main living area on the top floor, with bi-fold doors opening onto a large private terrace and a separate balcony on the other side of the living area.

There’s also a study on this floor – ideal for working from home – while the ground floor offers a separate living area as part of the expansive master suite, which also features a dressing area, en suite and balcony. The second bedroom also has an en suite, and there’s also a third bedroom and family bathroom on this floor.

Equally as impressive, the Wilberforce penthouse occupies the top two floors of Waterford Point; a landmark tower for the area and the highest tower constructed by Barratt at 37 storeys.

On the ground floor is a large open-plan living and dining area, a private balcony and the three bedrooms, while on the top floor is a stylish living, dining and kitchen area that leads through to an enormous private terrace measuring 38’6” by 21’1” – perfect for outdoor entertaining.

‘The new penthouses at Nine Elms Point offer the perfect solution for investors and owner occupiers alike,’ says Pam Reardon, Sales and Marketing Director for Barratt East London.

‘If it’s a prime property in a prime location that buyers want, then the Nine Elms Point penthouses are the best value for money, as well as an excellent lifestyle choice for city workers.’

Nine Elms is a real regeneration hotspot, with the recent arrival of the American Embassy, the overhaul of New Covent Garden Market and the arrival of Darby’s oyster bar, bakery and grill by Chef Robin Gill of The Dairy and Sorella in Clapham.

Just up the road you also have the phenomenal transformation of Battersea Power Station and the riverfront area as your playground, which, over the last couple of years, has welcomed new restaurants such as Fiume, Wright Bothers and Cinnamon Kitchen, as well as amenities such as Boom Cycle, Paul Edmonds hair salon, the Turbine Theatre and more.

And with the plans to extend the Northern line to Nine Elms – the station will lie adjacent to the Nine Elms Point development – and Battersea Power Station scheduled to be completed in autumn 2021, investors and owner-occupiers alike should see good returns.

Both penthouses are currently available at Nine Elms Point, starting from £3,999,950, with a show home due to launch this autumn.

Studios, as well as one and two-bedroom homes are also available to buy from £639,995-£904,950.
