Hotel planned for Post office site on Balham High Road Post Reply

A planning application has been submitted to Wandsworth Council to build a 91-room hotel at 90-92 Balham High Road in place of the existing post office.

But it's not a complete farewell to the post office as the project will include a new, smaller post office within the development.

If you'd like to comment on the application, you've got four days do it- the deadline is October 8.

This proposal looks horrendous with local residents losing privacy and light and gaining in noise, pollution and safety issues. There have been lots of objections so hopefully it will be thrown out.
