A man who was hit by a train last night is recovering in hospital.
Officers from British Transport Police were called to Clapham North Underground station at 9.11pm on Thursday following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended and a man was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition," a BTP spokeswoman said.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
The casualty follows another tragedy on the railways at Earlsfield station on Wednesday (October 2).
A 20-year-old man died at the scene after being hit by a train at Earlsfield station.
Emergency services including the air ambulance were called shortly after 9.30pm on Wednesday responding to reports a "casualty on the tracks", according to a British Transport Police (BTP) statement.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
