Green Industrial Revolution event - October 22

Postby Community Editor » Fri Oct 18, 2019 11:22 am

Do you want Wandsworth Council to improve its recycling rate, make recycling available to ALL residents and ask for the introduction of food waste collections?

Wandsworth Labour has passed a motion declaring a climate emergency in Wandsworth and are currently listening to residents about how they can improve carbon emissions locally. They want your views on this, https://wandsworthlabour.org/2019/09/17 ... emergency/

Yet it's not enough for one borough to act in isolation.

You are invited to join Battersea MP, Marsha De Cordova, and Danielle Rowley, Shadow Climate Justice Minister, to discuss what a Green Industrial Revolution will mean for Battersea and Wandsworth and how we can begin making these changes now.

When: 22nd October 2019, 7-9pm
Where: All Saints Church, 100 Prince of Wales Drive, London SW11 4BDT

This is an inclusive event, open to everyone who cares about the environment.
