La Retraite school is looking for small and big businesses to offer work placements for students

Postby Community Editor » Tue Nov 12, 2019 2:20 pm

As of only two schools in the country to be offering the new technical qualification T-Levels, La Retraite is looking to develop a partnership with businesses in the local area who are willing to host students for up 45 days of industry placement.

From September 2020 the school will be offering T-Levels in Digital and Education, and Childcare.

These courses have been designed with the best employers to ensure that students have the skills and knowledge a business needs.

In return as well as receiving a willing pair of hands, the government has set aside a £7 million employer assistance fund to help meet any financial constraints.

Furthermore, all businesses involved with Le Retraite's T-levels placements will be mentioned in their school newsletter as well as their Instagram and twitter pages.

For further information please contact: Nicola Weekly, 0208-673-5644 ext 130 or nweekly@laretraite.lambeth.sch.uk.

Still currently seeking all willing employers of both big and small businesses to host our students for work experience placements, taster days and the opportunity to come and talk to our students.
Please contact the school if interested, we are able to offer a number of benefits to employers who are willing to engage with our students.
