How to donate your old coat to the homeless now it’s getting colder - Clapham donation point

Postby Community Editor » Thu Nov 14, 2019 2:09 pm

A charity is urging people to donate their old coats to the homeless, who may be struggling to keep warm this winter.

It’s part of an annual drive called Wrap Up London, now in its ninth year. People are urged to donate their unwanted jackets and coats to locations across London, where they will be distributed to those in need.

Organisers had put on a collection at tube stations, however the deadline for this is now passed but you can still donate your coats until 23 November by taking your coat to a Safestore storage unit in Clapham. Address: 4 Gauden Rd, Timber Mill Way, Clapham, London SW4 6LY

For other locations visit: https://metro.co.uk/2019/11/13/donate-o ... -11090627/

Or you can even post your coats by dropping them off at CollectPlus locations:

Wrap Up London is working with CollectPlus and its sister brand Yodel for the fifth year running so you can donate your coat to your nearest Wrap Up campaign, even if you don’t live near to one of our donation points.

Just click here to download a label for free and drop off your coat at one of the 7,000+ CollectPlus Points across the UK. You have until 23rd November to post us your coat.
