Here is what you need to know about the election in Battersea and Tooting

While Battersea and Tooting may not be as close to call as Putney in the election battles in Wandsworth, they are still crucial indicators of the way the capital is voting.

Both are currently Labour, but Marsha de Cordova only recently turned Battersea red after a number of years under a Tory MP.

It looks like it could still be pretty close and every vote counts.

Here is everything you need to know about voting in Battersea or Tooting in the General Election this week.

Where does Battersea constituency cover?
This constituency covers the north-eastern Wandsworth wards of Balham, Fairfield, Latchmere, Northcote, Queenstown, St Mary’s Park, and Shaftesbury.

Where does Tooting constituency cover?
This constituency covers the south-eastern Wandsworth wards of Bedford, Furzedown, Graveney, Tooting, Earlsfield, Nightingale and Wandsworth Common.

When can I vote?
Polls open at 7am tomorrow, Thursday December 12 and close at 10pm.
