New spinning studio and cafe comes to Tooting

Postby Community Editor » Thu Feb 20, 2020 8:03 am

Cycle Culture is a brand new indoor cycling (aka “spinning”) studio and café in Tooting Bec.

Local husband and wife team Paul and Mili Saini have created a best in class cycling experience featuring a superstar instructor team (athletes and cheerleaders, not models) who make cycling fun without the fluff.

At Cycle Culture, fitness is a journey, not a destination. Every body and every level of fitness are welcome in their state of the art studio. Come as you are and know that real results, however you define them, await.

Riders and non-riders alike are welcome in their Scandi-inspired cafe. Make a new friend in the device-free communal seating area. Paul and Mili delight in seeing riders and other coffee lovers chatting while enjoying Allpress Espresso, cold pressed juices, baked goods and more.

Learn all about Cycle Culture, their team and classes at cycleculture.co.uk. That’s also where you buy and book rides. New riders can scoop up three rides for just £20!

Cycle Culture will be re-opening next week!

We’ve missed you and have lots to share but first the news you’ve been waiting on…Cycle Culture will be re-opening next week!!!  Our cafe will open on Wednesday 22 July and the cycling studio will open on Saturday 25 July…we can’t wait to see you!

With the big news out of the way, we just want to take a moment to say that we really hope you have been well and safe these past few months.  This has been an unprecedented time in our lives and this awful virus has affected all of us all in one way or another.  We have not taken our decision to re-open lightly and will be implementing strict new policies and procedures to help keep our members, customers and staff safe.  The only way forward is together and we will rely on you to work with as we all discover our new normal.

We’ve added a new page to our website that will be updated regularly regarding our safety policies and procedures.

A few key takeaways:
  • Let’s get social…ly distant!  The cycling studio and the cafe will have reduced capacity for social distancing.
  • Fresh air for all!  Our powerful Samsung air system will provide more than double the ventilation requirements as outlined by the government.
  • Disinfect to protect!  Staff will be trained on cleaning and hygiene procedures above and beyond our already rigorous procedures in place.  New hands-free sanitiser stations have been installed at multiple locations.
  • Stay on path!  We’ve added signage throughout the space to help create a queuing system and provide guidance on social distancing.
  • Be fashionably on time! We will require our cycling members to not arrive more than 15 minutes and no fewer than 5 minutes before class start time.  This will help avoid unnecessary queuing while allowing enough time for temperature screening and other new check in procedures.
We will be opening with a new, modified time table and look to expand our hours and cycling schedule as the weeks progress.  Please let us know if you want more time in the cafe or another class on our schedule!  We are driven by our community and will be here when you want us here!

On behalf of everyone at Cycle Culture, we’ll see you soon! 😊
