Man shot on Abbeville Road - Met Police appeal for witnesses

A man has been shot in Clapham in a non-fatal shooting in Abbeville Road.

A man in his 20s was found injured at about 5.30pm yesterday (26 July).

He has been taken to hospital and his injuries have been assessed as non life-threatening.

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service attended the incident with officers.

A crime scene has been put in place. There have been no arrests.

A resident living on the street tweeted a video of police officers and cars along the road.

They wrote: "#abbevilleroad shooting. road closed off."

Another also said the road is closed and posted and image of police tape.

Any witnesses can call police on 101, quoting CAD 5784/26jul.
