Warning from Wandsworth police re: social media platforms

Postby Community Editor » Tue Sep 08, 2020 7:37 pm

FROM: PCSO Dave Haywood, Wandsworth Police

"Warning to parents / users of social media platforms

We're aware of a disturbing video shared across Tik Tok + other platforms involving the suicide of a man from Mississippi.

Social media platforms are trying to remove it, but we wanted you to be aware in case it is seen online.

Note from me - I've been also told that it is apparently being spliced into innocent videos so please be aware. I would suggest that if your kids watch YouTube for example, to stick to trusted users.

Also, please please please do not share it.

Stay safe"
