Enjoy some Christmas cheer with loved ones at the alpine themed Winter Village at Battersea Power Station this December from 4th December – 3rd January.

Encompassing Circus West Village, the first chapter in the regeneration of the Power Station and The Coaling Jetty, a historic Grade II*-listed jetty on the River Thames, The Winter Village at Battersea Power Station will be the place to eat, drink and socialise safely this Christmas.

The riverside destination at the foot of the iconic Power Station has been transformed into an alpine village with a heated outdoor pergola seating area and wooden huts serving warming delightful treats from Circus West Village retailers such as Megan’s Battersea and Vagabond Wines, festive festoon lighting, over 100 Christmas trees and a 30ft tree with over 1,000 baubles and 19,000 LED lights.

Extra measures are being taken to ensure the safety of visitors attending The Winter Village at Battersea Power Station. One-way systems, signage and ground markings have been installed for guidance to help everyone entering the development to keep a safe distance and hand sanitisers are located across the site.

The wonderful retailers and restaurants at Battersea Power Station will also be offering Christmas delights and menus throughout the festive period. With special dishes including Tandoori ‘Ra-Ra’ Rump of Lamb and Festive Special Butter Chicken Masala at Cinnamon Kitchen, roast Norfolk turkey with all the trimmings and Sticky Toffee Pudding at No. 29 Power Station West and Fiume’s Pot Roasted Monkfish followed by Cinnamon and Coffee Panna Cotta, mouthwatering dining awaits at this riverside destination this December. There are also hundreds of wines to explore by the glass at Battersea Power Station’s unique urban winery, Vagabond Wines and craft beer brewed on site at Battersea Brewery.

If you’re looking for something to keep you warm whilst exploring The Winter Village at Battersea Power Station visit Circus West Village’s cool new addition Black Sheep Coffee for their signature specialty-grade 100% Robusta brews, a delicious hot chocolate or why not treat yourself to one of their decadent Norwegian Waffles. Whilst you’re there check out the Battersea Power Station inspired street art.

Following a successful first year, Nine Elms Arts Ministry are returning with a new Advent Calendar, which will light both the windows and hearts of the Nine Elms and Battersea community. From 5th December – 2nd January, the windows of 24 local businesses and community organisations will be illuminated and decorated by local artists following the theme of ‘Light in the Darkness’. The Turbine Theatre, No. 29 Power Station West, Paul Edmonds and The Riverhouse at Battersea Power Station will all be taking part in the trail, as well as an exciting new addition with one of the windows of Fosters + Partners’ Battersea Roof Gardens in the third phase of the development also being decorated. You can follow the lights in Nine Elms every evening, as one window opens online #NineElmsAdvent and all 24 windows can be seen on foot from 5th December.
