MUM AND TWO-YEAR-OLD SON LAUNCH HOMEMADE FOOD DELIVERY SERVICE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN

Postby Flora92 » Fri Jan 22, 2021 1:07 pm

A young mum in South London has launched a food delivery service for young children, appointing her two-year-old son as Chief Taster.

Pots for Tots
delivers homemade meals for toddlers and young children to help parents in London who don’t have time to cook healthy nutritious meals for their little ones, especially now they are not at school.

They aim to liberate parents while also making sure every child gets the nutrients they need to grow up healthy.

Every recipe is backed by nutritionist Zoe Hamer from Gut Instinct.
This business has launched during the pandemic, at a time when online food delivery slots at large supermarkets are becoming increasingly difficult to secure.

The meals are suitable for children from eight months to six years old and are made with high-quality, organic produce, and delivered in recyclable pots.

There is a range of meat, fish and vegetarian options to support a balanced diet. Every meal includes three or four different organic vegetables delivered straight from a local farm, and the meat is free-range and sourced from the local butcher. Meals include cottage pie, chicken fricassee and seasonal risotto.

All the packaging is sustainable. The pots are made from kraft paper, which is widely recyclable, the stickers are made from biodegradable cane fibre, the bags are made from recycled paper and even the ingredients are printed on recycled card.
