Female entrepreneurs can still book their place on Monday’s Women’s Enterprise Day.
Now in its seventh year, the 2021 event will be delivered online and is timed to coincide with International Women’s Day.
The event was created to provide female entrepreneurs in the borough with access to business advice and support, as well as the opportunity to connect and build networks with like- minded women.
This year’s virtual event will feature a panel discussion with three local businesswomen who will share how they adapted their business during Covid, as well as the challenges faced and the lessons learnt.
Guest Speaker Safia Minney, founder and CEO of People Tree, will discuss why making purpose central to your business is now more important than ever before.
There will be a master classes in managing your social media presence and author, radio presenter and podcaster Viv Groskop will show you how to shine on Zoom.
Wandsworth Council Deputy Leader Cllr Kim Caddy said: “Every year some of the most brilliant business minds in the borough come together for this celebration of female entrepreneurship. This year’s event will be online, but I’m sure it will still be a great way to network and learn skills to help your business succeed.
“This is just part of the support we will be offering local businesses over the next few months, to help them navigate their way through the pandemic and Brexit. including tailored advice sessions, virtual workshops and themed networking events.
“Our business support programme highlight the importance of enterprise within the borough and gives both start -ups and established businesses an opportunity to access the support they need to develop, adapt and succeed.”
