Council agrees to build more affordable homes in Battersea and Putney

Postby Community Editor » Wed Oct 17, 2018 8:31 am

More affordable homes will be built in Wandsworth by 2020, after the council signed contracts with a developer.

In total, 92 homes will be built in Battersea and Putney, increasing the supply of homes in the borough for people on lower incomes. The homes will be built by Wates Residential.

The Reality is Wandsworth Borough Council Planners have deliberately susbstituted 1,000's of (what could have been) real affordable Homes, by artificially boosting Community Infrastructure Levy payments, which it them uses to fill holes in poorly managed budgets.

Side effect .... £Billions goes offshore tax free

Council lets offshore developer off 50% of its affordable home compulsion

Postby LoveWandsworth » Thu Oct 18, 2018 5:00 pm

BVI based United Hansell, was depressed that it had to build Westfield House (almost 200 units) with 40% Affordable homes ... luckily Boyer Planning and its good mates at Wandsworth Council were there to help.

Now something it bought derelict for less than £15m could be immediately sold on to LIndon Homes for over £35m

£20m tax free Offshore .... bye bye to us ...and 30 to 40 (Free) affordable homes
