Police were called at around 9:40am on Wednesday, November 7 to reports of an injured man on Werter Road, at the junction with Putney High Street.
Officers attended and found 82-year-old Roy Steggall, of Dyers Lane, Putney suffering from a head injury. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are now appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident to come forward with information.
