Ollee: A tool to support children’s emotional wellbeing

Postby _Parent_Zone » Tue Jan 19, 2021 5:07 pm

As we find ourselves in a third lockdown, many families will be in need of extra support - whether it be due to school disruption, time away from family and friends or heightened worries about Covid-19.

Ollee is here to help!

Ollee, a digital friend for children aged 8-11 and their parents/carers, has been developed by Parent Zone and is funded by BBC Children in Need’s A Million & Me initiative which focuses on supporting children’s mental health.

Ollee is designed to help parents and children reflect on their feelings and start what can be a tricky conversation. It does this by offering tailored advice about a range of subjects such as school, the world and friendships.

Parents and children can link their accounts and then share this advice with each other, or use the tool by themselves.

Ollee is completely free and can be accessed via your mobile or any web browser. There’s no need to download anything – simply search for Ollee on your device and give it a try.

If you'd like to find out more about Ollee, you can visit the Ollee Hub on Parent Zone's website - this includes a video on how to use Ollee and a dedicated parents' area.
