Vacancies at Paul's Cancer Support Centre - part-time Fundraising Manager and Trustees

Postby katyc » Fri Jan 24, 2020 2:03 pm

Founded in 1983, Paul’s Cancer Support Centre provides support to anyone whose life has been affected by cancer, including families and carers. Paul’s is the only charity working in Wandsworth and the surrounding boroughs that supports people regardless of their type of cancer, or how long they have been living with cancer — whether it’s coping with a new diagnosis or undergoing treatment, rebuilding a life after cancer, or approaching the end of life. Last year, we provided support to 520 people, including home visits to 87 people who were too ill or frail to leave their own homes.

Fundraising Manager
Paul's Cancer Support Centre is seeking a passionate and energetic Fundraising Manager to drive income generation and ensure the sustainability of the charity. This new and exciting role will be responsible for the creation and implementation of a fundraising plan to raise funds from a range of sources and achieve agreed income targets. This is a part-time role (21 hours) which provides the opportunity for flexible working.

For further information (including the job description) please see our website (there is a link in the news and event section on the homepage). The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 14th February 2020.

Trustees
We are also looking for new Trustees to join our Board. The role is ideal for an individual who wishes to give back to the local community and who has an interest in providing and developing cancer care in the community. We are particularly looking for Trustees with the following skills/experience:
  • Charity / voluntary organisation governance
  • Finance
  • Fundraising
  • HR
  • Service user / beneficiary of the organisation
Acting as a Trustee is an opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills. This is a voluntary role, reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. For further information see the information pack on our website (in the 'Volunteer' section). The deadline for applications is 5pm on 14th February 2020.
