Vacancy Picker/Packer and Shop Assistant

Postby Denner Cashmere » Tue Sep 21, 2021 3:06 pm

Denner Cashmere are looking for a couple of new workers to join our very happy little team :)

We are a cashmere boutique selling high-end pieces on-line which we ship all over the UK and internationally.

Picker Packer
You will need to be able to work under pressure to have items picked, packed & ready for despatch each day.
The role will mostly involve picking and packing orders for dispatch, but there will be other ad-hoc duties including occasionally serving customers in our small shop and assisting with basic admin duties. We receive deliveries from our suppliers all year round and you will need to oversee the deliveries; unpack, count and organise the stock.

You will need to be physically fit as you will be on your feet most of the time.

Experience of working in this type of role would be beneficial however, we are primarily looking for a person who is friendly, positive and has an interest in clothing. Initially the hourly rate is £9/hour with the potential to increase based on performance.

Shop Assistant
Our shop, which is based near Clapham Junction is where our local customers come to be looked after. They like to receive great service and often just pop in for a chat!

The ideal candidate will have some previous relevant experience of working in a shop and have an interest in clothing. They should be confident in giving advice and making suggestions about styles that might suit our customers needs. They should also be very friendly, polite and willing to go the extra mile for our very loyal customers.

The shop opens Monday-Friday 10am-5pm and on Saturday 12-5. We are looking for somebody to work full time or part time hours within this period and have a little flexibility.

We are looking for an immediate start for both roles so if you think either is the job for you, then please send your CV along with a quick covering paragraph explaining why this job appeals. Feel free to pop in with your CV if you are local!
