Director of Junior Choir and Assistant Organist
St Luke's Church, SW London, has a strong reputation for its music over many years. Currently led by our Director of Music Derek Carden, we now seek a Junior Choir Director to re-establish a choir of young people from aged 7-14 to sing in Sunday services during term time.
This exciting role is ideal for the development of a young choral conductor with excellent keyboard skills, ideally including the organ. The Junior Choir Director will work closely with Derek Carden and a Youth Minister to develop the musical skills of young people in the area. As Assistant Organist, there will be opportunities to conduct the adult choir and to play for services.
Salary according to experience. 6 weeks holiday per annum.
