How would you like to learn what it’s like to run your own business, without taking any risks? Where you would work with a small, enthusiastic team that makes beautiful lingerie? In a role that is creative, varied and where you get to make all the decisions? Well, we’re looking for someone to take on the managing director’s role for 5 months while she goes on sabbatical. The role would involve some sales, marketing, financial planning, and production management – the nuts and bolts of a manufacturing/wholesale business.
You would need to be numerate, articulate, adaptable and extremely organised. You’ll also describe yourself as warm, friendly and confident. You’ll have a minimum of 5 yrs experience working in a blue-chip company (anything from advertising to banking and beyond), having maybe had a career break for kids.
Starting mid-August, you would shadow the MD for a month then take the reins. This is a full-time position (with very sensible working hours) in SE1.
