Summary

• Savvy Mummy’s http://www.savvymummys.co.uk is an innovative new online business with ambitious plans and proven entrepreneurial experience at the helm.
• Although this is a new start up we are aiming to grow this into a very exciting business. One of the founders has grown a business straight out of University to a £5 million turnover business employing over 100 people in 5 years
• We are a group buying site aimed at bringing local deals to mums on great products and services for both themselves and the whole family – similar to Groupon (the fastest growing company of the 21st Century) with prams, baby food, mum & baby clothes, family activities etc.
• We will launch in June in South West London, across the rest of London in July and nationally in August, but are keen to get our team on-board as soon as possible, so that they can be involved from the outset of this exciting opportunity.
• We have 2 roles; Sales Managers which are full time and Sales Team which are part time. We are looking for an ambitious, hard working sales manager who wants to be part of the founding team of a fledgling company with big ideas and also for a team of work from home sales mums (and the odd glass of rose on Northcote rd).

As we are going to be initially launching in London, local knowledge is essential, as you will need to have knowledge of mum and baby products, services and family friendly things to do in the area.

FULL TIME SALES MANAGER
• This is a multi-faceted role involving both business development and also building/managing a team of home-based, commission only Sales Reps.
• As the founding Sales Manager you will be tasked with creating the sales division:
o Developing sales tools and the whole team dynamic
o Recruiting; Training & Development of all sales staff
• In these early stages, business development is also a crucial part of this role, and you will continue to manage your own territory.
• However, this is not a hard sell cold call job! The advantages for businesses utilising us are endless; we guarantee new customers and provide risk-free advertising as we do not charge anything up front. We make our money by taking a percentage of the sales. This is a successful business model which is being replicated globally.
• You will earn a basic of £20-£30k and an uncapped commission structure based on your sales and the sales of your team. Sales bonuses of 100% of salary should be easily achievable. However, growth in line with the business is an achievable expectation, and the scope of this role is likely to increase exponentially.
• The role is full time, but with flexible hours and the opportunity to work from home. Your time will be split evenly between working from the office, working from home and visiting clients/your team.

Ideal candidates
• Proven Sales and Managerial experience.
• Knowledge of Mum and Baby products of interest to our target demographic – Mums! Either from personal experience or from working within the industry.
• Hard working and fun. We are a new start up with ambitious plans. Everyone involved will be working hard to build a great company, with a great culture, whilst having fun at the time (and the odd glass of rose along the way).
• Significant progression opportunities for the right candidate

PART TIME SALES MUMS

• The sales role involves approaching local businesses to see if they want to partner with us. You will be in charge of direct approaches and will report into a sales manager.
• The process would be an initial email to targeted small businesses containing the marketing pack which outlines why it is great for a business to work with us. This is followed up by a phone call and then a meeting if necessary.
• However, this is not a hard sell cold call job! The advantages for businesses utilising us are endless; we guarantee new customers and provide risk-free advertising as we do not charge anything up front. We make our money by taking a percentage of the sales. This is a successful business model which is being replicated globally.
• The role is completely flexible. You will have the option to work from home or come to the office. You may be required to visit clients, but these will all be local.
• You will earn a small basic as long as you hit set target hurdles which will vary depending on the number of days you work and you will also have a very good commission structure.
• There will be opportunities to develop into full time sales roles and management roles if desired.
• As above, we are launching in London so initially we are only looking for people within this area.
