Elysium or Almyra Hotel in Paphos - any thoughts?

Postby cosmos99 » Fri Feb 12, 2016 9:49 pm

Hello
We're thinking of booking a holiday to Paphos for October half term.
Looking for a child (4 year old) friendly hotel with good food, kids club and children's pool/ activities.

Would love to hear your views on Elysium Hotel or Almyra? Any good? Worth the money?

Many thanks
Cosmos

We stayed at the almyra last April and liked it so much we are going back this April. Lovely Scott Dunn run childrens clubs, brilliant children's pool and staff couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating of our food throwing 10 month old. Paphos itself wouldn't usually be my cup of tea but with a lovely spa and gym at the hotel and fantastic food in both restaurants I barely left the hotel. Very quick airport transfer too. We got a sea view one bed suite which was vast and gave a separate room for our lo within monitor range of the restaurant. I stayed at the Elysium 13 years ago. No idea what it would be like with children but food and service not in same league from (admittedly very hazy) recollection.
