Summer camps for teens?

Postby altuk1978 » Mon Nov 26, 2018 3:27 pm

Hi everyone,

Trying to get organised for the summer and just researching summer camps for my two children (13 and 15) as I will be working most of the summer! Has anyone booked a residential camp for their kids before? Which one's would you recommend?

Hi Altuk1978
Check out Camp Suisse. An amazing camp in Switzerland. My daughter went there 2 summers ago and is still in touch with the friends she made there.
There is a review here https://nappyvalleynet.com/swiss-ball/

PGL have some residential camps based in the UK.

A x

Thank you! I was originally thinking of camps in the UK - haven't heard of Camp Suisse but I will look into it.

I've heard a few horror stories from PGL, especially after looking at some reviews on their Facebook. Quite torn with them!

Hey,
My kids went to XUK camps last summer... not sure if you have heard of it before? They are absolutely fantastic - kids came back singing their praises and I will be rebooking again next year.
They have a couple of activity camps - I booked XUK Activity which is the multi-activity one. I would deffo recommend you having a look - https://www.xukcamps.com/

Thanks, JUP. Had a look into XUK and been in touch - it looks very fun! Wish they had these camps for adults! ;)
