Cheap Yoga for mums - any interest?

Postby aurell » Sun Feb 24, 2019 3:46 pm

ImageHi everyone,

I'm a local mum of 3 and I recently certified as a yoga teacher. I'm currently studying Yoga for Pelvic Health and I would love to start a cheap yoga for mums weekly or bi-weekly class. I'm looking into community halls or church halls for hire and, as I don't want to lose too much money when I start, I would need to have a few mums already interested before I put any money in the rent.

The class would be term-time, school-time and I'm planning to allow babies and toddlers in so that any mum can join in.

The price I'm aiming to charge would be £6 per mum per one-hour session, but if I get a lot of local mums interested, I could even sell discounted packages.

Yoga is incredibly good for mums - and not only new mums - as it can dramatically help re-tone the pelvic area and gently get back into shape. It's also the perfect activity to decrease stress, get better sleep and reduce back pain.

I'm willing to create a real community women-only class, where you can make your body happy and healthy while making friends, having a chat and a giggle. I would love to receive a lot of interest here to make this happen. I can open classes in the areas around Clapham, Wandsworth, Earlsfield, Tooting.

Please reach out and let me know which area you're in and I will get in touch with you.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

All the best,

Aurelie

Hi Aurélie,

My name is Aina and I'm a mum of a little baby girl that just turned 10 months. I would be very interested your classes! As I have just moved to London from France, that would also be a perfect opportunity to make new friends!
Please do not hesitate to keep me updated about your project :-)
All the best,
Aina

Hi Aurelie, I'm very interested, about to become a first time mum in the Wandsworth Common/Earlsfield/Balham area. Keep us posted on what you decide to do!

I remember a pay what you like yoga class when I was around 20 at the Tabernacle. It was so lovely of her to do that. But I think the space was free for her as its a community space. Good luck with this X

Hi Charlie,

Sorry, I'm not qualified for pilates, just yoga. I hope you find something nice around you!

Ladies,

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I'm going to PM all of you who were interested - hopefully, we can put something together. It looks like Balham is winning so far. Any other takers? If you reach out to me, we can try to organise the day, time and place.

I've also got a couple of PMs so other locations still possible too.

Lots of yogi love to you,

Aurelie
