Whether you practice Hot Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha Yoga or Vinyasa Yoga, Scaravelli Yoga or Pregnancy Yoga; whether you are a yoga novice or a yoga teacher, this special Christmas Yoga fundraising gathering needs you. For the third year running, Tthe Chatham Hall Yoga Community, and friends are gathering together to practice yoga and raise funds in aid of Glass Door Charity - an exceptional local charity working hard to keep the homeless sheltered and fed this Christmas. Nadia Raafat is a senior teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience. She has been teaching yoga on Northcote Road for over a decade. She will lead the 2.5-hour immersive workshop in a beautiful candle-lit space which will feature dynamic hatha flow yoga, deeply grounding yin yoga followed by a guided yoga nidra relaxation. The second half of the session will feature a pranayama session followed by an extended meditation session featuring a deep five senses meditation and concluding with the Loving Kindness Meditation. No meditation experience is necessary. You will be guided throughout. All proceeds from the evening will go to Glass Door Charity. Last Year we raised £1400. This is our target once again.
Did you know that each £35 ticket will enable Glass Door to:
- Cook a Christmas Dinner for 40 Guests
- Offer one night’s space for someone at a night shelter complete with a new pair of socks and a meal
- Enable potentially life-changing access to Glass Doors Support Networks.
Even if you cannot join us but would like to support the cause, please buy a ticket anyway and let Nadia know you are gifting the space and it can be resold.
