Rhinoplasty advice please

Postby Chassagne » Tue Aug 11, 2015 11:11 am

Hello,

I'm looking for some recommendations for a rhinopasty surgeon if anyone would have one?

When I was a teenager I broke my nose in an accident and although I did have surgery at the time it wasn't fixed correctly and I still has a bump and my nose is off centre. It has always bothered me, but I have tried to put it to the back of my mind and accept that this is who I am now, but I seem to think of it every day now like an obsession and I feel so unattractive with it, it's strange to say that I feel like it's getting worse as I get older. It's made harder every time I see my mum and sister's who all have perfect noses and I know that mine could have been like that if it hadn't been broken. After 3 children I'm deciding that I think it's time I get it fixed before they get too old. I still want to look like myself but just with the bump straightened out, if possible I'd love it no one knew I had the surgery done as I hope it could be as subtle as possible.

Would anyone have a good recommendation for a surgeon?

Thanks very much.

We are so similar here... I had exactly the same problem and it took me 28 years to sort it out - I am so happy I did, two years ago. Most people don't notice it, it looks so perfectly natural! Dr Bassim Matti on Harley Street, he is a rhinoplastry genius in my view and such good advice of what is feasible and what is not (he also does all the rest of plastic surgery so don't be put off by the strange looking women in the waiting room :-). Do not hesitate to send me a private message if you want a more extensive chat about the op itself. Good luck!

Can highly recommend Dr Toma who works out of Parkside and Kingston hosp a amongst others.
His website is www.drtoma.co.uk
He is a brilliant surgeon and has performed 3 operations on my daughter. He is also a delightful man.
Good luck!

Hello,
I had a septorhynoplasty exactly one year ago.
I did lot of research and I narrowed down 3 surgeons:

Charles East
Isham Saleh
Andrew James

They are all ENT surgeon, hence give priority to the functionality of the nose first and then to the shape.

I would suggest you see at least 2 surgeons before taking the decision.
I went with Isham Saleh and I'm happy with the result. All went well and my nose looks natural but not super perfect.

If you have an insurance and you have septo issues, this the septhoplasty can be covered by the insurance and you pay only for the rhynoplasty.

let me know if you have more questions
