PAEDIACTRIC EARLY YEARS FIRST AID COURSE - OFSTED APPROVED

BRAND NEW!!!! Paediatric Early Years First Aid Course – 12 Hour OFSTED Approved

This course is for people working with younger children (0 – 8yrs), including Teachers, Au pairs, Child Minders, Playgroup/Crèche Leaders, Nannies, Crèche, Nursery staff and any other child care workers looking after young children.

This course is also suitable for those working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education.


Course Syllabus includes:-


First Aid Kit
Action Planning
Treatment of an unconscious casualty and the recovery position
Resuscitation
Choking
Asthma and diabetic emergencies
Head injuries
Seizures
Bleeding
Burns and scolds
Sprains, strains and fractures
Poisoning, bites and stings
Foreign objects
Childhood conditions (e.g. measles, meningitis, croup).

Course duration: 12 hours.


COURSES HELD EVERY MONTH AT OUR TRAINING VENUE IN BALHAM OR CLAPHAM!

Next Start Dates: -
Sunday 13th & 20th September 2009 (10.30am – 4.30pm)

Cost £140 pp - includes, Tuition, FREE Paediatric First Aid Manual, Refreshments, Handouts and Certification

Maximum 12 places per group.

All our courses are run by experienced HSE Approved Instructors & qualified Teachers from the Lifelong Learning Sector.
