GCSE Maths and Science Tutor needed

Postby wendyjo » Wed Feb 13, 2019 5:51 pm

Does anyone know of any good GCSE maths and science tutors in the Balham area?

My son is struggling with some of the more complex areas of the subjects (particularly algrebra in maths) and I am sadly not equipped with the skills to offer him the support he needs.

His concentration can be easily broken when he's finding something challenging, so someone engaging and fun is a must!

Hi Wendy,

Are you still on the lookout for a tutor?

I live in Tooting and graduated from the University of Bristol with a 2.1 in Biology BSc. Please get in contact for more information on my tutoring experience, style and skill set.

Hi Wendy
We are local tuition agency that has been helping students prepare for their GCSEs & A Levels since 1982.
We can certainly help find you an experienced GCSE tutor, who will be familiar with the new curriculum and grade boundaries.

Alternatively we are running a higher tier GCSE Maths revision camp (for those aiming at 6 and above) at Dulwich College on 8th, 9th, 10th April - 4 hours per day.
Max of 8 per class focusing on exam technique and past papers.
This is nearly full so do get back to me asap if you are interested.
many thanks
