Postby haggis68 » Wed May 15, 2019 4:04 pm

Hi all

Does anyone have any recommendations for a career coach, particularly with experience within the legal industry.

TIA :)

Yes, these are the details of a good friend of ours who left law to be a career coach so he has first hand experience.

Hi Tia,
I’m a career/life coach with 15 yrs of corporate experience from the Big Four (ex PwC/Deloitte).
If your reasons for wanting a coach in the legal sector are negotiable, I’d love to talk.

I offer a free, no obligation Clarity Consultation to all prospective clients so they can decide whether we’re a good coaching “fit”. And I’m currently offering a 10% discount on all my coaching packages to anyone that books a Clarity Consultation before the end of May.

You can find testimonials at my website www.mindfulswan.com and see more about me via my Instagram @mindfulswan or FB (also mindfulswan).

Have a great day!

Hi Tia

Thanks to Neat64 for recommending me: as she said, I was a partner in one of the top 4 international firms, before becoming an executive coach in 2016.  I work with a lot of clients (lawyers and non-lawyers) on career issues - whether looking to progress to the next stage in their existing careers,  seeking a change of direction or just not sure "what next?"

I would be very happy to have an initial no obligation meeting or call.  My email details again for ease: emmajkendall@gmail.com.

Best regards
Emma

This post got me thinking a little bit. Do you really need a professional career coach? There must be loads of local people with relevant experiences that can mentor you. I find more and more people wanting to help others. I have no experience in the legal sector, but if it was in the banking sector for example I would have no qualms spending some time with you.

Either way, hope you find the right support whether that is a professional or just someone willing to help!

My friend Cath is an ex barrister and is brilliant.
She’s based in Manchester but has meetings over Skype for clients who can’t get to her.
