Post Nuptials - pre separation/divorce advice

Postby tulip2019 » Tue Jun 11, 2019 1:35 pm

Looking for recommendations for a solicitor who can give me an initial consultation advice on marriage split and rights to assets/children etc.
My husband is from mainland Europe and wants to return, but wants to ensure rights of access to children and I want advice on splitting our assets and protecting myself and children: my future earnings and maintenance from him etc.
It all feels very uncertain and have no idea where to start so any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks so much

Very sorry to hear it Tulip. Louise Minifie at Thomas Mansfield is very experienced and good at this, and well worth talking with in the first instance. louise.minifie@thomasmansfield.com, tel: 0203 780 2511, https://www.tmfamilylaw.co.uk/solicitor ... e-minifie/

Hello Tulip

I’m Sorry to read your going through this difficult time.

I can highly recommend Laura Naser at Penningtons - I believe relocation is one of her areas of expertise. If you have Instagram she regularly posts useful and helpful advice - her handle is @thefamilylawyer

Good luck

May I recommend Kim Marshall who has already introduced herself here. She is experienced in working on international cases and works hard for her clients. As well as being a really lovely person she knows what it's like to be in your shoes.

It's worth calling all of those that have been recommended as it's important to find the person that is the right fit for you, with whom you feel you can build a good relationship. I'm sure they will all be happy to give you some time and preliminary advice on what your next steps should be. Best of luck.
