Cello teacher

Postby Bunnypigeon1 » Sat Aug 03, 2019 8:00 pm

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could help recommend a cello teacher for my daughter? Our usual teacher will be unavailable for the next few months and so I’m looking for some temporary cover as I’m woefully bad at all things musical! Ideally I’m looking for someone who could do a half hour lesson once or twice a week this month, and then once a week during term time until at least the end of September. We live just off wandsworth common and my daughter just completed her grade 1. Thanks!

Our daughter who is 8 years old goes to a superb, awesome cello teacher. Unfortunately he doesn't travel as he's really sought after. Simon is truly inspirational and fun teacher but you'd have to travel to his house in Isleworth or attend the strings programme he runs from Hammersmith on Saturday mornings. If this works for you, let me know and I'll send you his details. Your daughter may not want to go back to her old teacher though!
